Rick and Lucan Kitesurfing

Ricky and Lucan ripping it up kitesurfing off Titchfield Haven, Southampton (near Lee-on-solent). The day was a slow start with the wind, but it picked up to around 20kn. Rick is sailing a 13.5m Best Kahona and Lucan is on a 9.5m Kahona.

Getting over a sore back allowed me to shoot this instead of being out in the water. Added bonus is the tropical moisture streaming overhead, in two layers. 2.5 hours, almost 2400 pictures, originally shoot at 1600×1200, resized to 640×480. quicktime Pro compiled this at 15fps.
